Dr. Deyanira Sánchez is an L.A. native who pursued national and international training in dentistry. She received a B.A. in pathology as well as a Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico in 2000. During a year of Mexican social service, she functioned as chief resident/pre-doctoral clinical clinical instructor in prosthodontics. Upon returning to the United States, she received accreditation for Doctor in Dental Surgery as well as a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry though the University of California, Los Angeles.

She currently holds a part time clinical/ lecturer faculty position at UCLA were she teaches the predoctoral dental students. Dr. Sánchez is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is on the executive committee of the Southern California Society of Dentistry for Children.

Dr. Sánchez enjoys sharing home makeover projects with her husband and musical "jam sessions" as well mixed martial arts with her 2 children. On the weekends you may find her mountain biking/hiking/trail running in the Santa Monica Mountains with her family and friends.
